This pricing is valid for domain registration, transfer and renewal until approximately 30 days after domain expiry when domains enter a Redemption period. Please note that a domain in Redemption is $150 + HST to renew due to additional charges from the domain Registry.

Notice Regarding Domain Renewal Policy Change

Effective October 1, 2026, The Wire will no longer offer stand-alone domain registrations for accounts that do not maintain other active services with us. If you have domain only service with The Wire, please transfer your domain(s) before the current registration term expires. Website hosting accounts with additional parked and inactive domains are not affected.

Steps to Secure Your Domain:

  1. Choose a new domain registrar (suggestions include Name.com, easyDNS, or Cloudflare)
  2. Reply to this email or log into your portal to request your domain authorization (EPP) code
  3. Initiate the transfer with your new provider prior to your expiration date
